Meredith O. has been working with us at Stella Says Go almost since we opened. A Biology professor with a love for style and fashion (so much so that she founded her own clothing line featuring re- and upcycled vintage clothing: Lizabeth & LeAnn ), she has been a wonderful part of our team. Of course, when we started kicking around the idea of the Real Women, Real Style column, we didn’t think of anyone else for our inaugural post.
Without further ado, here is Meredith, featuring our Jeffrey Campbell Rockette and clothing from her own line.
The Rockette shoe is a show stopper; this is not your mama’s clog. It’s the one shoe in the store that almost everyone picks up and drools over. The sculptural form of the balance, combined with the electric blue of the suede upper, combine for a dramatic shoe that draws inspiration from both Japanese and Indian traditional footwear, as only Jeffrey Campbell could.
We love this shoe for it’s artistic sensibility and heightened sense of fashion-as-theater. When we say heightened, it’s no joke. When you slip on these shoes, you’ll be standing six inches taller! Not for the feint of heart, Rockette is sure to make an impression.
